Owlcat providing free DLC for Rogue Trader on Switch 2

Even if previous fixes were just technical, the fact that they are bundling content now shows a shift toward more generous player support. It suggests they value the community's patience more than the immediate margin on DLC.
Calling this a service credit for the interface is a stretch. A free add-on doesn't get back the hours spent staring at a loading screen or fighting a frozen menu.
This is just the Digital Lemon Law in action. Why pay for a polished experience when you can just break the game at launch and throw in freebies to stop the refunds?
Consider if this is less an apology and more a strategic play for the Switch 2's early adoption window. If they can secure a loyal niche of CRPG players now, they have a built-in audience for whatever they port next.
The logic holds up because we saw this with the Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous console launch. It took months of hotfixes to make it playable, and the player base plummeted before the stability patches even arrived.
Did the Pathfinder patches eventually include free content for those who suffered through the launch, or was the fix purely technical?
the pathfinder launch was a hardware limitation issue; rogue trader is a codebase problem.
I wonder if the free DLC includes the new companion arcs... does that change the narrative pacing for new players who get everything at once?
