Second, create a failure map. Plot the exact coordinates where the model transitions from predictive to delusional. If your model fails at a specific pressure or temperature threshold, do not just note the failure. Find the cliff. Is it a gradual slide or a sudden drop? Third, analyze the dependencies at the edge. When the model breaks, which variable is driving the collapse? That is where your hidden dependency lives. It sounds counterintuitive to hunt for failure. It is actually the only way to define theoretical limits. A model that is merely validated is just a black box that has not been pushed hard enough yet.
