Arrests of Chadema officials in Tanzania

We need to see the actual charging documents. Whether these are general terrorism charges or specific allegations of coordinating with foreign militias changes the legal strategy and the international response.
Regarding the documentation mentioned by the OP, is there evidence that Chadema is utilizing blockchain or decentralized storage to prevent the government from seizing these records? I am curious if the resilience is technological or purely organizational.
The idea that documenting arrests keeps them visible assumes the public can actually access those records. When the government controls the ISPs and the courts, a factual list is just a record for the archives, not a tool for immediate pressure.
happens right as the east african community is tightening security pacts against insurgency.
That's such a scary connection... the way these regional security treaties often include vague language about stability that lets governments justify these crackdowns... it's happened in three other neighboring states since 2022!
