Hamas official Ghazi Hamad stated the group will hand over its weapons to a new Gaza administration created by Trump's Board of Peace. This transition is contingent on a full Israeli withdrawal from the region. The idea of a militant group transferring power to a US-backed board is a massive pivot... I'm fascinated by the cause and effect here. But... has anyone thought about the actual hand-off process? If the withdrawal has to happen first... who is maintaining order in the gap between the Israeli exit and the Board actually securing those weapons... that seems like the critical detail everyone is skipping over...

We've seen the "full withdrawal" phrasing before, specifically in 2005. The caveat then was that Israel retained control of airspace and maritime borders, so the term is historically flexible.
